I've come to realize generational differences between myself and the average MCCer. For example, I'm a business social media guru often speaking with someone who's "kid uses that stuff." While I can't summit an entire breakdown to highlight the value on a person-by-person basis, I wouldn't mind hosting an event to help our over 30 MCCers out.
My point: The under 30 MCC crowd has a lot to offer. I'm spearheading an intiative to group this crowd and start making things happen.

Hi, I'm new to MCC but have met a few of you already. This Under 30 group is a great idea and you can definitely count me in! There have been a lot of great ideas thrown around and Shauna has set up a couple of meetings, but I'm not sure how those events turned out. Any new events planned in the near future? If there is, GREAT! I'd love to know when! If not, we should plan something where the first hour is meet and greet, and then we all sit down to put together an actual plan e.g. "How to help our over 30 MCCers", "Effective internet marketing skills", "How to boost entrepreneurial confidence in under 20s, under 30s, under 40s, etc." With a format like this, it will be inviting to all under 30 MCCers, even those that can't make every meeting and are new to MCC.
This is for the over 30 crowd as much as it is the under 30.
In the last few months, I have become a fan of Chris Brogan, ( I posted about him last week). Here is what he is saying about the Gen Y croud in the business place. and I must say...

I can't do lunch meetings, but let me know how everything turns out! Perhaps have someone take notes/minutes and post them as a file? This also will encourage more to participate even if they can't be there, and for newbies to know what is going on and get up to speed on the group.
