News about Subgroups and Our Calendar(s)

Whether you are a father, have one or are simply grateful that you did, yesterday was a special day.  I hope you got to enjoy it with people you love.

It's really good to get connected with the calendars on this site.

When we added subgroups to the site, it knocked the link for calendar off the task bar.

On the off chance you are looking for future events (and don't like the list of upcoming events on the bottom of the homepage) you can find calendar under the "share" tab. You may also want to look under the "important" tab where you will find another calendar that features a bunch of non MCC events. Feel free to send events you would like posted there to motorcityconnect@gmail.com and we will get them posted.

Why subgroups will make MCC better for you

Networking is all about building good relationships. Good relationships start with common ground. While we think its great to see MCC members from all over the Detroit area, we know you are more likely to connect with people that across the street than those two counties away. In the same way you can forge a potentially more valuable relationship with people who sell to the same decision makers as you. For the record, you agree that we are ALL in sales, right?

About 200 of you have joined subgroups thus far. While that's a good start, it is just that...a start. Go check out the groups, see which ones are applicable to you and join them. Once inside, create a discussion and tell us who you are and how we can help you. You will be amazed at how much this group can do for you if you simply tell us what you seek.

Red, Green and Sledgehammer aka Blood, Sweat and Gear will be done in conjunction with Buy Michigan Week (way more details on this) 7/27-8/2. Please carve out some time to make a difference!

The official dates of the Red, Green and Sledgehammer have been announced!

We are about to embark on one of the biggest initiatives this state has ever seen. We will partner with numerous community leaders and make a tremendously positive impact on our area the last week of July. There is a special subgroup set up for the RGS campaign, please join it here. While we will occasionally share information about this awesome project on the main board, the subgroup is where all the magic will happen. Please sign up!
