#313DLove Led to a Governor's proclamation!!

Last week was the big #313DLove event at the Charles Wright Museum. It was a blast. So many excellent people sharing wonderful lessons about how they grew their passions into thriving businesses in Detroit. It was really excellent. 

My man Benji Rosenzweig caught a few key moments on film: First, is yours truly dropping a poem entitled "For the Love of Detroit". Second is where we announce that Governor Snyder has officially proclaimed that March 13 is now "Detroit Day". Finally, you see the beginning of the #313DLove # trending on Twitter. Pretty cool 10 minutes if you ask me.

Happy Hour is Back

I honestly can't recall the last time we did a happy hour event. It seems like a good idea to do one, so we are...this Thursday, March 19 at 5:15 in fact. We will do so in the 275 corridor at Aubree's Pizza joint near 8 mile and 275. They've got a ton of specials. Read all about them AND RSVP on our Facebook event page.

We have partnered with TiE Detroit

TiE stands for "The Indus Entrepreneur" and they are the LARGEST entrepreneur organization on the planet. I met with the President and Executive Director of this cool organization and we have decided to partner on some good stuff moving forward. This week they have a great event on BIG Data at OU on Thursday evening. You can learn more about it HERE.

MCC Live Royal Oak

On March 24 at 11:30 a.m. we will head back to BDs Mongolian for some tasty stir-fry, great connections and some new knowledge. This meeting we are going to focus on "Mindset". We all know it's better to have a positive attitude than a negative one. But how do you keep a positive attitude in the face of what's going on? Details and RSVP HERE.
