Congressman Knollenberg's Career Fair

I posted information regarding Congressman Knollenberg's Career Fair to be held on October 10 at the OCC Orachardridge campus, to the calendar section. This Career Fair had its genesis in the fact that the Congressman understands that companies have openings and that people are looking for work, yet the two do not always find each other easily.
If you would like to have a copy of the actual flyer I would be happy to email it along.
There are still opening if any more companies would like to participate. I would make the introductions.

Are we listing political events on Motor City Connect now? I've got a few in mind.
This is not a political event. It is being coordinated by a sitting Congressman. It is a Career Fair.
I'm sure Knollenberg's political backers want us to believe this event is non-political, but I just don't buy it. It comes less than a month before an election in which jobs and the economy are hot-button issues, and in which Knollenberg faces the strongest challenge of his career. So, yes, it is Congressman Knollenberg's career fair: It's all about Congressman Knollenberg's career.
I'll give the man and his operatives credit for a cunning and well-timed manuever. However, it strains credulity to suggest the event is not politically motivated and timed.
So far Motor City Connect has been a non-political forum, and I would rather it remain that way.
chuck,
I would love a flyer. thanks.
