...to introduce myself?
My name is Israel Retana and I own Good As New, a furniture restoration company based in Livingston County (servicing most of Southeast Michigan). I specialize in the restoration of antique and heirloom furniture, but if it's made out of wood I can make it good.
I grew up in Chicago in a family business building custom furniture and restoring antiques. The sawdust is in my veins! Point is, I've been doing this forever and I love it.
I heard about this site in a meeting I attended today and I'm glad I did. It's good to see a site that is as active as this one is. I look forward to attending events and meetings and making connections with some of you.
