I just sent this blast:

In my mind tomorrow begins that most wonderful time of the year.

The reason I don't love all the Christmas hoopla kicking off before Friday is because we shouldn't rush past Thanksgiving. As a native American fella I'm not nearly as interested in the origin story as I am in what it means to you and us today.

To me it's very simple...time with friends and family where we can express gratitude for the good in our lives. You know what else is cool? No presents. Haha

Some of the challenges our nation faces is based on our desire for more, more, more and not being thankful for what we have.

Another challenge is our inability to listen to other points of view with the intent of understanding as opposed to responding. Tomorrow will be am interesting exercise for some. You may see family members with whom you have had heated political debates online. It will be a very different experience when there are no "screens" between you. Pro tip...may be wise to go easy on the alcohol.

All in all the vast majority of us reading this want the same things:

*   A drama free gathering filled with love and laughter
*   A decisive Lions victory
*   Second helping of mashed potatoes
*   And 1 of those big flying things to break free and take off from the parade

Whatever it is that you seek, I sincerely hope that you find it.

Here's to a day filled with love, peace and giving thanks.

Cheers-

Networking Your Way Through the Silly Season

I wrote this a few years ago and it seems to become more applicable around this time. If you're going to be at a bunch of holiday parties anyway, you may as well turn them into networking events...but do so with flair. Check out these 10.5 ideas on how to do so HERE

Thank yous

I'm really grateful that each one of you are here and look forward to continually being of service to you. Do let me know how I may help.

All my best-
