Life Hacks: Your Best Year Yet

I'm always trying to squeeze more in and get more done (with varying degrees of success). As such, one of my favorite things to research are Life Hacks.
Life Hacks are little productivity tricks that professionals devise to cut through information overload, get organized and get more done. The name comes from the computer programming world where programmers would "hack" code together to make it work.
There are several web sites that catalog and collect Life Hacks including:
Today I read a great post that quickly highlighted 50 Tricks to Get Things Done Faster, Better, and More Easily. Here's my fav from the list:
- Most Important Tasks (MITs): At the start of each day (or the night before) highlight the three or four most important things you have to do in the coming day. Do them first. If you get nothing else accomplished aside from your MITs, you’ve still had a pretty productive day.

Good advice Charlie. I plan my days the night before right down to how I'm going to approach my potential clients when I first cold call them. Blind cold calls are handled one way, referrals another and vertical market another. Before I even Start my cold calls though I knock off my call backs and follow ups.

I generally start with the thing I most don't want to do, to get it out of the way so I can enjoy the rest of the day. From there, it is the three most important things, then everything else based on what attracts me at the moment.

A lot of these suggestions may seem very simple but when applied it does make a difference !
I know one thing for sure that these tips for "life hack" is necessary in my breakfast pack every day!
