Recyling for charities

Folks,

I was going to take some toners and cell phones down to Recyling for Charities in Royal Oak. The idea is that you give them your empty toners and broken electronics, and they give money to your favorite charity.  However, they no longer take drop off, and it would cost more to ship the items to them than I could get for the charitable donation.

Does anyone know of a similiar organization closer to Oakland University? Or, can you suggested another place I can take the tonors and cell phones?
