This job focuses on the sale of telecommunications and data hardware (Toshiba and NEC), network services (Cbeyond, Northstream and AT&T) and video surveillance to S.E. Michigan enterprise business community. Candidates must establish and maintain a pipeline of qualified prospects through a variety of marketing methods to include networking, vertical marketing, and cold call prospecting. Sales process includes application developement. proposal, presentation and closing of the sale.


Applicants must be self-motivated, possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate superior interpersonal verbal and computer skills. Minimum 2 years of successful outside sales or telecommunications/data hardware or network experience required.

CTS is also seeking qualified candidates for the position of Customer Service representitive. This is a new position and the job discription is under developement. Basic responsibilities would include calling on our existing customer base (Metro Detroit) to review their service history and network services (At&T, Northstream, XO, Cavalier, etc.) After such review develope, propose and sell a customized Maintenance plan and improved network services. While calling on our base you may uncover other opportunities that you may be able to handle or may turn over to another sales rep.


This is a salary plus incentive and commission position. Approximate year one earnings $35,000.00. Success in this position can provide a path for advancement to Senior Sales positions.


Requirements for this position:



  • Reliable transportation (Car/Cell allowance provided)

  • Microsoft office skills

  • Analytical skills

  • Good basic math skills

  • Must be sales oriented and willing to prospect

  • Experience in voice or data business is a huge plus

  • Must be reliable and professional
