Seeking answer to major real estate objection

It seems that some buyers are waiting until the market drops lower. How do you overcome prospects saying they are waiting until the prices come down some more before they buy? What would you say to them to help them to move forward in the process and stop waiting?

Show them the numbers!
We are down 26% to our projected 30% so if they are willing to wait for the possible 4% than that might be tough for you - on the other end - that might be where you have to go the extra mile and find them that house/condo that they are not willing to wait for aka their "dream house" after looking at the extra 10-20 houses to get to that point!
I am actually working on putting together some Realtor mastermind groups from across the Metro Detroit area covering topics such as this. Let me know if you would be interested.
Thanks,
Keith Stonehouse
If you have a chance, you should check out one of Merry Beth Schubert's free seminars. It would be well worth the time spent
Keith, I'd be interested in some Realtor Mastermind groups, please keep me posted if you plan something solid.
Talk to Josh Norber and Jason Childs, They own "the Short Sales Group" and that's exactly what they do for a living. They are MCC members so look up their contact info.

Denise Roberts has an Overcoming Objection Bootcamp that is really good. You may want to visit the next open session at the Troy Community Center on July 22 from 9-10:30 am. This is based on the Robert Kiyosaki/Blair Singer program Sales Dogs. Gives you an insight to why people are objecting and how to work WITH them and the objections. If you need more info email Denise @ deniser@sp-ww.com.
I tell them that in real estate no trend is guaranteed. No one knows when the bottom will come or if it has come already. There are signs in the low end forclosures that they may have already bottomed out. Why would they want to miss out on the perfect house that may not be on the market in a month. The inventories are decreasing and average prices are no longer plummeting. Read the signs and get a move on.
Keith
You know I'm in for the mastermind group.
