Somewhere between that time of being a child when Christmas is hands down your favorite holiday and when you prefer the holidays that involve copious amounts of drinking (New Years, 4th of July, Halloween) I realized that Thanksgiving is by far the best. It seems to be the one time of year when almost all of us are dialed into what really matters. Friends. Family. Togetherness. And most importantly, giving thanks for all of it. Let's not forget that we get good eats and LOTS of football ;-)

It's also very important to recognize what we do have and how it relates to so many others who have so much less. (if you're looking for a list of things to be grateful for, CHECK THIS OUT). The fact is, if you are reading this, regardless of your current situation, you are doing better than many, many people. I'm very grateful for that. And I'm very grateful to have the opportunity to share with you. Thank you for being a part of Motor City Connect. I appreciate all that you do to make this group great.
