What's the saying...failure is an opportunity to learn and grow. Wow, that was an amazing video, thank you Charlie.
We learn wisdom from failure much more than from success. We often discover what will do, by finding out what will not do; and probably he who never made a mistake never made a discovery. S. Smiles
Great Video.

Great People Fail, Learn From It and Move Forward.
"Life = Risk" What risks will you be taking today?
Very cool, Charlie!
John Maxwell book Failing Forward is a "must read" for all who think failure is something to fear.
So, how about it, MCC? What is your "failure" story?
My parents, school counselors, and former employers told me it was impossible to make a living as a writer...
I'm reminded of something Ronald Reagan was fond of saying: "I throw my golf club in the direction I'm heading." The way you fail, and how you react to it, can help prepare you for your next success.
I play in a Euchre League every Wednesday. There are approx. 10 tables or so every season. People of all ages and gender. Inevitably, every week, following the sound of a quarter clanking in the bottom of a cup located on each table (25 cents paid for a euchre) I hear someone say "I'm just not going to order it up anymore." My response is "If you aren't getting euchred, you aren't calling it enough." I think they are getting sick of my little saying but I know just gaining a little confidence to keep trying goes a long way and I've seen these players improve and continue to play rather than retreating into their shell and not having fun or giving it up.
Great point, Scott. You can't win Euchre if you never call trump. You can't win in business if you never take a chance. You can't change the world if you never take a first step.
Lessons from the Euchre table - love it! In "Failing Forward" John Maxwell says if you aren't failing at least once a day, you aren't trying hard enough.
When is the MCC euchre party (all proceeds to Blightbusters, dont'cha think?)
Linda,
I like that so much I put it on the board at work.

Each failure puts you one step closer to a success.
The difference between failing and falling is,
Falling : You get up and run forward
Failing: You fall down and don't want to get up...you just give up.
I fall, I learn but I run forward not only with some scars called learning but also with a new experience gained !!
