Back In Michigan and Looking
Hello All.
My name is Darcy Schuchert and I recently relocated from Scottsdale, Arizona to Michigan this month. I am still looking to find employment here in Michigan. I was a Credit Analyst and a Marketing Assistant for a Commerical Finance Company and enjoy the business world. I deal with customers on a daily basis along with analysing their personal and business credit. With over five years of business experience, my goal oriented professionalism holds relevance in credit, banking, business administration, marking and public relations. I attend Devry University and am obtaining a Bachelor of Science degree this summer term and while I attended college full time I also remained employeed full time. I not only wanted to obtain a solid degree I wanted to earn the experience as well. I am looking forward to networking on Motor City Connect, and would like to thank everyone for their time. If you have any open opportunities or have any advise for me please contact me at:

Darcy, I have offered this suggestion to others and I practice a bit of it myself. Try to contact managers at companies that you would like to work for and ask to meet with them for an informational interview about their company. After you get the interview, ask them what challenges they are facing. See if you have a skill set that you could use to solve their problem. Oh the other piece of all this, you offer all this for free with no expectations. More often than not, individuals will ask you for your resume. They will try to help you. By finding out what issues the managers and companies face, you position yourself in a great place. When you do get an interview with one of the companies you can say, "I have come to understand that you are facing a challenge in Z field. I have some suggestions of how to solve this issue."
Just some thoughts
