Job Title: Loan Partner 1

Jamie Nummer, (a client of mine) and Vice President at Somerset Lending, has recently started a purchase team at Somerset Lending Corp. This team is focused on partnering with Realtors to provide great service to purchase mortgage clients. They are looking for someone to assist in all areas of the loan process, initially covering for a team member on maternity leave and then sharing support responsibilities with that team member when she returns.

Job Responsibilities Include:

-Help to manage the Team Leader's calendar
-Maintain spreadsheets of leads in progress and database of contacts
-Help the team prepare for meetings by assembling reports
-Prepare marketing e-mails and communication
-Send birthday cards and thank you cards
-Take applications over the phone if needed
-Help structure loans as needed
-Prepare printed application packages in advance for meeting with the borrower, ensuring everything is correct
-Work with client to collect all required supporting documentation for processing
-Plan and coordinate marketing events and workshops

Additional Job Responsibilities While Covering for Team Member on Maternity Leave:

-Complete Quality Control check on all files
-Manage all locks and lock expirations
-Give regular realtor updates on loans in process
-Help processing with difficult conditions
-Maintain contact with the client regularly through the loan process
-Work with client to collect all required conditions
-Work with closing team on anything needed
-Communicate with lender for clarification or exceptions
-Make pre-close call with final numbers to borrower if needed

Required Qualifications:

-Must be very detail oriented
-Able to work under pressure and deadlines
-Strong sense of urgency
-Able to multi-task
-Flexible schedule, sometimes staying past 5:00 pm
- Proficient with all of Microsoft Office
-Loan Processing experience a plus
-Calyx Point software experience a plus
