Better referrals = More Business and lunch today

I just sent this blast:

You know what's not fun? Cold calling. Over and over again. Not only do you have to make at least 50 calls a day (Hey, your manager told you it was a #'s game Darn it!) just to reach FOUR people, you have to call those four people like six times before they'll begin to listen to you. And that, my friends, is a LOT of calling.

You know what is fun? Getting a referral directly to those same people from someone THEY know, like and trust.

Here's your golden tip for today.

Figure out who is on your target list for your business (who do you want to add as a client) and then figure out who in your network knows them well. Simply meet with that person to learn how you can be of service to them and explain why you believe you can help their friend. If that goes well, they may just be the key to open that door.
