What are your plans for celebrating your mom's? What types of gifts are you giving? (I am looking for a few unique ideas for my MIL because it is also her birthday)

Pampering is one of my favorites. As moms I think we have a tendency to put everyone else first. I am in favor of a massage!
Another idea is to donate to a favorite charity. It's so much nicer than buying something that someone doesn't really want or need anyway.
How about doing something special. Planting flowers or something similar for her?
Maybe a scrapbook page or collage showing how much you appreciate her?

I agree with Mary. Every mother puts others before themselves. If you enjoy your MIL's company go to the spa with her - get a mani/pedi, facial whatever, but enjoy it! How often do we pamper ourselves?
I totally agree that we put everyone before ourselves. She really enjoys massages, but may love a day at the spa with me!
And, I can get away with this by telling my husband part of HER gift is spending the day with me, right?
