Monday! MONday! MONDAY! Color me old fashioned, but I always get excited at the possibility of a new Monday. Who will I meet? What great adventures await? How will I get the MMAM done?
Here are three things you can read to help orient your week for success.
- Terry Bean shares his insights
- My favorite topic
- Someone you should meet
- You have plans May 31st
Remember: Dream big. Small dreams never change the world, ignite passions or make for good stories to tell when we’re old.
Terry Bean shares his insights
I learn something every time I sit down with Terry Bean. No one better understands the concept of six degrees of connectedness and applies it everyday in every interaction. He inspires me. He makes me laugh. This is sounding a bit like a man crush.
On to my point. We cajoled Terry into sharing some of his big ideas with the group. Everyday this week, Terry will be adding a new article on the art and science of the Specific Ask. You can read it by clicking here. Feel free to share it with a friend. If you need to crank up the effectiveness of your networking efforts, this is one of the most important tactics to learn.
And while we’re on the topic, if you want to give your sales team a big shot in the arm, consider hiring Terry Bean to speak at your next sales meeting. Call him at (248) 224-1326 to learn about Networked Inc’s networking training programs.
My favorite topic
Lunch. You need to eat. You need to meet. We have both. Joins us for a fun and effective alternative to a boring networking lunch. This week, you have two options: MCC Novi or MCC Sterling Heights.
Someone you should meet
Each week, we take a closer look at MCC’s 720 members. Get to know Karen Swim and Nigel Addison in this waeeks Someone You Should Meet feature.
You have plans May 31st
We have an incredible event coming up on Saturday May 31st – a volunteer day for BlightBusters. In a nut shell, MCC members will gather together to help fix up broken down houses, restore hope and build lasting relationships. Please check out the calendar and RSVP today. It will be good for the community, good for your business and good for your soul. There’s no better way to invest a Saturday.
