Job Title: Procurement Specialist
Reports To: Vice President
Overview: At PAT a Procurement Specialist locates best value items for our worldwide construction operations. The ideal candidate is a globally minded individual that is innovative in their search process and can think creatively to negotiate values for PAT's customers.
Job responsibilities:
1. Work with engineering and construction team members to procure supplies for domestic construction operations.
2. Work with engineers at foreign PAT offices to provide American and Canadian products for overseas construction operations.
3. Monitor orders and shipments for timely delivery.
4. Ensure suppliers understand requirements for products shipped to other countries.
5. Monitor sites that post solicitations, tenders, RFQs, and RFIs for procurement and construction operations.
6. Work with international offices to fulfill procurement needs for their operations.
7. Develop sources of products/suppliers for international trading operations.
8. Analyze the capability of potential partners and suppliers.
9. Additional assignments as may be required.
Requirements:
1. Three years of experience in procurement, it is a plus if this experience is in the construction and/or international marketplace.
2. Excellent communication skills.
3. Familiarity with federal procurement a plus.
4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Access. Experience with Office 2010 preferred.
5. Familiarity with Skype.
6. May include occasional travel.
7. Veterans welcome.
Compensation:
1. Salary plus revenue sharing for business generation.
2. Benefit packet.
