Software company seeks Automotive sales pro to build vertical
A friend of mine owns a company that provides logistics solutions for companies all over the world and in many different industries. And while they have clients like: Ford, Caterpillar and Renault, they really want to build a strong vertical in automotive. They know their solution will be well received and add a ton of value in this industry.
They are looking for an individual who has experience selling software solutions (preferably of the supply chain variety) to OEM's and Tier suppliers. This person will need to be a "hunter" and enjoy going after new business repeatedly. The sales quota is $2M annually (1M in software and 1M in services). There is a base salary of just over $100k and total comp at plan is just over $250k.
This company is growing quickly...having doubled in size each of the last 2 years (now 150 employees). This is a great opportunity to open a new "market" for them and to be part of a world renowned team.
