Let's Put Business Aside for the Moment

All Title Business aside today:

After last Friday I think we all had an out of body, eye opening, hug everyone close to you experience ...as we should have. I myself, do not have children but, have worked with youth my entire life and have plenty of friends and clients that do and I cannot imagine anything like this happening and or how I would deal with this or how the families involved will especially being that it's during the holidays.

What happened in Connecticut took a little piece of America's soul... somehow some way I feel that we've all been affected more than ever before. I know I have and cannot express it in words but, I have felt cold, confused, and sick since I heard about it yesterday morning. I hear so many people say/ask "what was he thinking?" ...people, that's the scariest part of it all - You don't know and don't understand and hopefully NEVER will - You cannot prevent crazy. You cannot prevent that of which has never been imagined before. If this is not a time to come together (not as just Americans) but, as a human race - I don't know what is. This has been a amazingly honest eye opener for us. I cry when I think about those kids in this situation, that teacher that shielded her students and died a hero, the parents who hoped for the best but ...well, you get it. Let's start respecting one another as life is too short, too precious, and a gift .....a gift.

This has inspired me more than ever to be there for my fellow man ...This Christmas I will be spending it alone with my mom and we plan to give back this year as we have in the past. I know of some great missions, shelters, organizations, etc - If you know of something or a part of something that you need some volunteers for - Please, let me know.
