If you missed TEDxDetroit (or would like more), there is an event called "Pecha-Kucha" that also has many different creative presentations during the night. It's an event to meet, network, and have your mind 'expanded'.
Mark Besh of Visual IMPACT! will present a non-profit he is involved with called "Life Remodeled." (He refers to it as "Extreme Makeover: Home Edition 2.0").
