ISO part-time National Event Manager

Goofy Faces, LC is seeking a part-time national event manager with a strong background in event marketing to become part of our unique team. We are seeking a creative, organized individual who has strong computer and web skills, is willing to learn everything there is to know about our industry and wishes to grow with our company. You will be able to work from home with the exception of monthly meetings and occasional marketing events for our business. You will keep track of your own hours and submit them to us as a monthly invoice and be compensated as an independent contractor. We are offering an hourly rate between $13 to $18/HR based on skill set and experience. Below is a list of duties that you will be performing:

Daily:

• Respond to event leads from website, facebook, and Gigmasters, via both phone and email


• Book artists for client events nationwide


• Update our online booking system as necessary


• Prepare client and artist contracts


• Distribute Goofy Faces materials to artists


• Follow up with clients/artists for missing contracts/paperwork/custom paper needs


• Request event photos from artists


• Review booking calendar to ensure all gigs are covered

Monthly:

• Update marketing database with new leads (online booking system, wedding lists, event partner lists)


• Prepare and distribute (3) targeted eNewsletters; determine "special offer" for the month


• Review booking calendar; contact leads from previous years' events for rebooking


• Follow-up postcard mailings to bridal show leads


• Attend networking events on behalf of Goofy Faces (as needed)


• Utilize online sources to target new leads in the event planning and college/universities industries


• Make follow-up calls on unbooked leads from Gigmasters/COBS


• Attend Goofy Faces monthly team meeting; provide status updates
