Your traditions

During our MCC live meeting the week of thanksgiving we each shared what we grateful for. Many members said that was a tradition in their home on that holiday. It was truly a wonderful way to connect with one another. It would be great if you would spend a moment and share with us on the website some of your December holiday traditions.

A new Detroit area tradition

For the first time ever a Super BIG menorah will be lit downtown near Campus Martius.  This coming Tuesday Hannukah officially begins. To celebrate, 300-500 people will head downtown to join together as the super big menorah is lit from 5:30-6:15. More details are HERE on their Facebook page. 

Our traditions

We were talking about "elf on the shelf" today. Have you heard about this silliness? Seems like fun for the whole family.

We celebrate,  dare I say it,  Christmas in my family. That wasn't so bad was it? It always involves hustling from place to place. This year will be different as two of three extended family obligations will be hosted in our home.

Do you prefer to host so you don't have to travel or travel so you don't have to clean up?

Do you wish others a Merry Christmas or say happy holidays?

If you celebrate a holiday other than Christmas are you offended if someone wishes you Merry Christmas?

Can't we all just get along?? ;-)

Goal!!

One of Charlie and my favorite presentations to deliver is entitled Goal! Its "the secret" meets "getting things done". Its right thinking meets right action. Every year we deliver it the week between Christmas and New Years. Every year I wonder why we dont deliver it every month. Stay tuned for dates on this most important presentation.
