Who are your best prospects? Who are you calling on this week? Is there a person you really need to meet? A "specific ask" is one of the most powerful ways to network and it's the reason MCC is here. 

The more specific you are, the better chance you have of making a connection. An example of good ask is "I'm looking for contacts at translation companies." A better ask: "I'm looking for a marketing contact at Iterotext Translation Services." The best ask is the most specific: "I'm looking for an introduction to Beverly Cornell, Director of Marketing & Sales at Iterotext Translation Services."
