Globe Runner SEO, a Dallas Search Engine Optimization company based in Lewisville, Texas is expanding! We're in need of an experienced Drupal developer.

More about the position
• Work on Wordpress and Drupal projects and custom plug-in development
• Flexible schedule as need / project basis
• Must be able to commit to client kick-off meetings during business hours (9-5) and project management meetings on a weekly basis

This developer must exemplify & have the following necessary skills / traits:
• A Computer Science or related degree
• Able to produce tableless web pages
• Speak development, not design
• Experience with developing responsive websites
• Demonstrated experience building Wordpress websites and custom web applications
• Able to conform, maintain and adhere to high coding and development standards
• You pride yourself in demonstrating exemplary organizational skills & meticulous attention to detail

Required Wordpress Expertise:
• Demonstrated experience with 960gs
• Understand how to write clean, modular HTML/CSS
• Familiar with Wordpress and PEAR coding standards as well as the differences
• Ability to write your own loops, SQL, and WP_Queries
• Plugin development experience: you're adept at developing or modifying plugins
• Sub-theme development from scratch and maintenance of existing themes
• Can write efficient, re-usable code
• Expertise with pushing and pulling from git, and svn a must
• Experience working in a Linux shell environment
• Diagnosing and implementing bug fixes
• Familiarity and experience in optimizing and tuning website performance

Required Drupal Expertise:
• Deep knowledge of Views, panels, CCK, Drupal Ubercart / Commerce, Organic Groups
• Module development experience. You're adept at developing a module from scratch & have committed code on a Drupal project
• Sub-theme development from scratch and maintenance of existing themes
• Familiarity with pushing and pulling from git, and svn
• Experience working in a Linux shell environment
• Diagnosing and implementing bug fixes
• Familiarity and experience in optimizing and tuning application performance

Bonuses
• You write python, java or are a bash scripting fiend
• Experience working with E-Commerce websites
• Familiarity of Social API's: Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare
• Exposure to project management processes and working with teams
• Developed applications for mobile devices
• You blog, tweet, write for yourself

Compensation
