2 DAYS LEFT!! "BLOG To BOOK SUCCESS" WEBINAR this Thurs.9/16/10. | 0 | 0 | 1004 |
Two that I highly recommend (especially for women):
Coach Yourself to Success by Talane Meidenar (and I'm probably spelling the name wrong). This book literally changed the way I think about everything. I've worn out three copies of it because I re-read it all the time.
Secrets of Six Figure Women by Barbara Stanny. Unbelievably phenomenal book.
On a personal note - The Love Dare, from the movie, "Fireproof" will change the course of your relationships, whether its with a spouse, a family member or a friend.
I just finished "Tribes" by Seth Godin. Great read.
I highly recommend Death By Meeting and Made to Stick!
For whatever reason the title, 'Eat That Frog!' jumped out to me (no pun intended). I am only halfway thru it but am finding it very enjoyable. It is a very quick and easy read. As Jeremiah pointed out, the principles are basic but worthy of reading. Thanks for the recommendation Jeremiah!
Just finished reading Greater Than Yourself by Steve Farber. Great book about 7th level leadership. Written as a story the message is clear and concise. Another tout d' force by the author of Radical Leap and Radical Edge.
Who's Your Gladys?: How to Turn Even the Most Difficult Customer into Your Biggest Fan by Marilyn Suttle, Lori Jo Vest - both local Mdtro Detroit area authors http://whosyourgladys.com/
The Whuffie Factor: Using the Power of Social Networks to Build Your Business by Tara Hunt
The Big Leap: Conquer Your Hidden Fear and Take Life to the Next Level by Gay Hendricks
Thank God It's Monday!: How to Create a Workplace You and Your Customers Love by Roxanne Emmerich
Book Yourself Solid by Michael Port, didn't know where to post this, I posted it as a separate thread as well, sorry if that messed up the system here.

I think perhaps the greatest success book I've ever read is "The Magic Of Thinking Big" by David J. Shwartz Ph.D.
I could add another 20 books or so or shamelessly plug my book but the Traveler's Gift by Andy Andrews is my all time favorite and first required reading for my new coaching clients ! My website http://discoveryourmissingpower.com always lists my top 16 boks of all time. I update it every quarter if I read a new one that hits the top 16 ! I try to read at least 2 new books per month. Some books are for fun but most just to sharpen the saw .
