Welcome to the MCC Monday Morning Memo. With our membership quickly approaching 500 members, we thought it might be a good idea to send out a quick not to keep everybody in the loop.

In this issue:

   – Meet us for lunch tomorrow

   – I’ve got a question?

   – New features coming to MCC

   – Someone you need to meet

Together, we’re going to ensure you achieve your best quarter yet.

Meet us for lunch tomorrow

This is a chance for everyone to come face-to-face with other MCC members. MCC Live lunches are relaxed, casual and usually good for a few laughs. Come early – - we ran out of seats last time! It’s never a something you have to attend, it’s an event you want to attend. No sixty second commercials. No ten minute speakers. Just a chance to break bread together, meet new people, seek to understand their needs and connect on a new level.

Event: MCC Live Royal Oak

Date: Tuesday, March 25, 2008

Time: 11:00 am – 1:00 pm

Location: BD’s Mongolian BBQ - downtown Royal Oak on Main Street between 4th Street and 5th Street

Cost: $20.00 ($13 for lunch and tip, $7 for MCC). Cash is preferred – it’s hard to run 50 credit cards!

Question of the Day: What is your favorite business book?

Contact Terry Bean at (248) 224-1326 or Charlie Wollborg at (248) 766-9994 for details.

If it’s Tuesday, it’s Motor City Connect Live!

I’ve got a question?

Don’t we all! While we can’t tell you the meaning of life or tomorrow’s winning lottery numbers, MCC is filled with business experts. Our members can solve just about every business challenge your company is facing.

Use the “search within this group” box on the top right hand side of the summary page. Just type in a business category from, IT to Real Estate to Marketing to Coaching to Finance, and MCC has you covered.

If you have a question about MCC, feel free to contact a member on our leadership team. We’re always more than happy to talk and point you in the right direction. Find the leadership team here: http://www.motorcityconnect.com/about.html

New features coming to MCC

We’re adding a cool new feature to MCC this week called “instant ask” where you’ll be able to unleash the power of the MCC network to help you close the deal. More details in next weeks memo.

In the meantime, make sure you fill out your profile. There’s a fun discussion called What’s your online Pet Peeve and guess what is winning? People with incomplete profiles! If you don’t have a profile, we can’t find you! And while you’re at it, upload a photo so we can see your smiling face.

Someone you need to meet

With 500 people in the group, it’s tough to know everyone. In this section, we’ll introduce you to an MCC member you should get to know better. In this issue, we meet Henry Joshua.

Name: (What do your friends in business call you?)

“Man with a plan of action” (you dont have to tell this to others :) but thats what I have heard before )Henry, Enrique, Henri, Henrik  (several different versions)

Advantage: (Why do your clients choose you over the competition?)

- Strategic creativity.

- DotSign’s model : Our Target audience do not need a pure visual amusement or pure technology show off as their intenet presense. My client need a marketing tool that is Compelling Creative  Cutting Edge

Networking Groups: (BNI, SNG, LBN, Chambers, LinkedIn, etc)

Motor City Connect and Fusion, Detroit Chamber affiliated young professionals group.

Why does it work for you?: (Why are you a member of that group?)

My strong belief – In order to serve well, any person MUST understand, keep their senses open and realise what the end user wants. What other better way than direct interaction through networking? Plus realistically, I need  to have a successful business as well :o) so networking given an opportunity for my prospects to see  what we have done and what we are capable of !

Secret Weapon: (What is your networking key to success?)

Being myself and desire to give , what I call ” Palms Up Approach” and Dotsign’s model itself, people can see the value.  (nothing secret about it though )

Salsa(other latin) Dancing, Racquet Ball, Reading (Secret – singing loud in my car & bath room).

Favorite book: Seven Habits of highly effective people, Steven Covey. Any movie that makes me think  is fine :). I dont watch that much TV

Favorite Charity: (Where do you lend your time, talents and contributions?)

Several Asian Indian Diversity groups, several Orphanages but I have a specific one I am involved more in India called ”Geresim”.

Favorite Quote: (What’s your inspirational motto?)

My own: Few things in life cannot be explained, can only be experienced.

Do the things you believe in and believe in the things you do.

Passion: (Outside of work, what excites you?)

Psychology, people, Just nature is amazing , in every way.

Ask: (Who specifically are you looking to meet?)

Cliche but needed: Business owners who wants Internet presence and solution as an investment and not a cost. Mahathma Gandhi and  Mohammed Ali – for their patience, strategy and never give up attitude. I know meeting them not happening, So any one with these qualities !!

What’s your greatest accomplishment?

4 US record of Inventions and projects where my clients had asked me if I had had a form to sign up to be my life long client.

What’s next?

Moving towards a latest technology/ trend which we project the industry will go towards and model to cut down overheads so that i can transfer the benefit to our clients. ( my business partner doesn’t want to say what the trend projection is exactly , I dont mind but for his sake..I am sorry)
