Hiring Sales/Administrative Support person to assist Director of Sales
Blvd Suites, Inc. is a leading corporate housing company specializing in Metro Detroit and serving metropolitan areas nationwide. As a Sales Assistant/Administrative Support team member, you will often be the face, voice, and spirit of Blvd Suites. The importance of this role cannot be understated, as it is highly pertinent to the growth and success of our team. The Sales Assistant performs a variety of clerical and administrative activities to support the Blvd Suites sales team. You will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of information and follow up for existing and prospective customers.
The position reports directly to the Director of Sales with a dotted line reporting path to the CEO.
The following is a list of responsibilities and job functions that a Sales Assistant/Administrative Support team member would have at Blvd Suites Inc.:
- Client Servicing: This is the most important responsibility of all members of the Blvd Suites team. It is the pride of this organization to provide top-notch service to all of our clients and guests and it's truly what sets us apart from our competition. We go above and beyond what is normal and necessary to customizing our guest's experience and ultimately, to generate "repeat business".
- Answers telephone calls, conveys messages, and monitors the flow of e-mail.
- Processing sales leads and assuring leads are directed to the appropriate staff member. This includes both general email inquiry leads and incoming phone leads.
- Phone contacts to augment the efforts of the sales staff as needed.
- Data entry of guest information and reservations and other necessary services to customers as directed by the sales staff or management.
- Answers routine guest questions and directs questions to appropriate personnel when necessary. This will include sales and guest service related issues as well.
- May assist regional sales staff based in remote locations (i.e. Grand Rapids, IN, OH) as needed or required.
- Other duties as assigned include but are not limited to assisting with the coordination and submission of proposals, planning sales meetings for outside sales manager, troubleshooting minor technical problems, updating job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and/or trade shows, serving as the liaison between outside sales representatives and staff based in the corporate office.
Skills/Qualifications:
- High School graduate, 2 or 4 year college graduate preferred.
- Excellent telephone skills and computer knowledge with proficiency in database management and word processing. Microsoft Office skills.
- Demonstrated proficiency composing written communications. High energy level, comfortable performing multifaceted projects in conjunction with day-to-day activities.
- Resourceful, well organized, highly dependable, efficient and detail oriented, Customer-Focused.
- 3-5 years previous job experience with customer service or sales support experience.
