I know your day is hectic...
I know your day is hectic - Maybe you have a long day at work = maybe even 2 or 3 jobs, maybe school = maybe even school and work, if you have kids... maybe all 3!
I don't know what you have - EVERYONE is busy - EVERYONE has a lot on their plate... but I have only 2 simple questions for you:
1. What have you done for those around you today / those you love / those who have done good by you today?
and...
2. What do you want to be known for if you die today or you die tomorrow? Someone who was always busy / someone who always had a hectic day everyday - or someone who was there for their friends, their family, and those in need everyday? Someone selfless and in turn reeps the returns 3 fold!?
We were put on this earth to support those around us and make the world a better place along with of course reproduction - but I am not going to promote that... I am just trying to enlighten you into the world of others around you - and stop closing yourself off in your own little world of and in your hectic days. Stop and take a step back and look at yourself... look at your mornings, look at your day at work and or school, look at your evenings and then look at your nights!
Now think real hard... what are you doing to make a change? What are you doing to make it better?
Think about it.
Thank You for your time,
Keith Stonehouse

Well said Keith !!! The words came from the right person- Super busy person, expert in his field but also a leader when it comes to charity and fundraising events for a good cause.
I have realized there is a lot more satifaction and a sense of accompolishment in "giving "than just "getting" all the time. Now, I dont mean giving away everything and stand with "I work for food sign". we are all professionals and we do need cetain thing to be sustainable..
But Giving can be...
...Giving your professional service with the best quality and reasonable price
...Giving your time for a good cause
...Giving your money(a fraction I mean) as donations to make a change for some one elses life
...Giving your talent (we all have atleast 1 believe me) that can make can impact for some one else
... above all giving your thoughts for another person (actions start from a thought)
Ond thing that I am thankfull to my parents , is they taught me to give...let it be Christmas, or any celebration including birthday of any family member, instead of buying gifts for each other we either sponsored a day's food or cloths for children without parents, in India.

Keith, great post and thanks for taking a stand for being connected and in service.
And, for those wondering how to make that happen from a "how-to" standpoint, consider the following:
So, what is there to do? Here you go:
Try this on for one week. If it works, keep on using it. If it doesn't, ask yourself this question: What am I truly committed to today? Then give it another shot.

I try to stand by the idea that he who is last will be first in heaven. Giving, and giving first, seems to always pay off when you most need it.
I am fortunate and blessed to work for a company that allows me to tie together my faith and my career, and it is wonderful!
Thank You everyone for your responses - I am truly blown away by the feedback the 3 of you provided! Thank You...
and Thank You to Matthew Newcomb for the great referral to Robert Hassenrick at DFCU as I asked awhile ago for a contact to their mortgage home loan dept. This is what it's all about people!
Good thought provokers my man....
