Our client, a Tier 1 automotive supplier with a plant location in Toledo, Ohio, is seeking an Accounts Receivable Clerk for a long-term contract.


The AR Clerk supports the Business Group. The main missions of the role are:



  • Applying all cash transactions

  • Research and resolve customer accounts receivable issues

  • Prepare past due reports

  • Place collection calls

  • Update and reconcile sub-ledger to general ledger

  • Problem solving for billing issues

  • Month-end preparation as required by direct manager.

  • Prepares journal entries as required by direct manager.

  • Generate customer invoices from SAP

  • Prepares certain month-end reports for management

  • Other duties as needed


The ideal candidate will have/be:



  • 1-4 years in an accounts receivable position required

  • SAP Accounting Software background required (additional knowledge of QAD a plus)

  • Strong Excel / Word skills required

  • Have great people skills, positive attitude, and strong communication skills
