Does anyone know a manufacturer?

From another network I belong to, I received this request to find a manufacturer.

The client sells a marketing program via 24 mini books & CDs and packages it all via a carrying case, currently being manufactured in China. Because of the massive order quantities & lead times required on this case, she is looking for alternative suppliers w/ shorter order lead times and smaller quantities.

The client seeks a manufacturer for a plastic or cardboard semi-hard sided case.

Here are the basic specs (think a boxy briefcase with a flip top and
handle)

- Turned edge box with hinged lid
- 13" (33.02 cm) x 8.75" (22.225 cm) x 6" (15.24 cm) w/ nesting 1" lid
(2.54 cm) depth
-.120" board or equivalent plastic case (the sides of the case)
- Homa plastic latch closure (close the top)
- Shoulder strap
- Handle
- Silk screen 2 color panel in one position (marketing logo)
- Gator foam pieces in the interior to keep parts in place
- Embossed logo on exterior

Order sizes are expected to vary from 200 pcs to 2,000 pieces

Must either beat current China price of $20/unit or be able to produce in the US at lower order quanities and pricing in the $30/unit range.
