Looking for a Senior Software Developer with .Net experience

Job Description

Our client is a small company that has revolutionized the collection and monitoring of manufacturing data. They are looking for a rock star to help take their software to the next level. The Senior Software Developer will be responsible for conducting, leading and coordinating software development activities throughout the project lifecycle including key design decisions for the technology, structure and configuration of the system. A deep understanding and ability to design and implement using the Microsoft .Net platform as well as experience developing using Agile development methodologies is a must. You will manage all of the operational aspects of the software development teams to ensure business and product objectives are met. You will provide administrative, technical and people leadership for multiple diverse teams.

Desired Skills and Experience

• You are self-motivated and have solid knowledge and experience of the software development lifecycle.


• You have an excellent understanding of leading technologies and architectural designs with a web development background being desirable.


• You have excellent communication skills (written and oral), teamwork skills, and negotiating skills.


• You have the ability to identify, prioritize and execute tasks to meet critical project deadlines.


• Work effectively across departments and to exercise tact, diplomacy, and good judgment in dealing with various clients and staff.


• You want to see your team grow and achieve their potential.


• Agile development experience.


• A BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering. An MS is a plus.


• A leader in software design and implementation using object-oriented languages.


• At least three years of experience with the .Net platform, languages, and SQL Server.


• Proven and demonstrable experience leading an engineering team through a new development process.


• Comfort in dealing with shifting priorities.


• Ability to envision the ultimate goal (big picture) while focusing on the details.
