Declare Yourself a Rhino!

Last week was really weird for me. I got the stomach flu and it zapped all of the energy from me. Luckily I was well taken care of by my lady feeding me my Ms. Grass soup and Saltine crackers, she was a lifesaver J

When I'm sick not only am I the biggest baby in the world, but I want to be left alone to my Godfather movies and reading. I'm in the middle of reading Atlas Shrugged, by Ayn Rand (I strongly recommend) on my Kindle, but I had to recharge it. So I needed a quick stand in. I picked up Rhinoceros Success by Scott Alexander. It's a fun little 122 page book that likens us humans to Rhino's and how to take on their character to find success.

It was required reading for me from one of my mentors a few years ago and as an agent it's a book I would recommend reading at least once a year.

Basically the Rhino does not have any predators (except humans...grrrr), they have 7 inch skin, when they want to go somewhere they just ‘go' there's nothing stopping them!

On page 27 there's a fun little exercise that if you can put your ‘I'm too cool ego' to the side and have a little fun with yourself can take your life (Family, Social, Physical, Spiritual, Financial and Work) to the next level. First you get a 3x5 card and write:
‘I AM A RHINOCEROS! I HAVE A DAMN-THE-TORPEDOES SPIRIT! I AM FULL OF ENERGY AND I CAN'T WAIT TO GET UP IN THE MORNING TO START CHARGING!'

On the second card write:

‘I AM THE SUCCESSUL OWNER OF (INSERT HERE YOUR BUSINESS) AND I AM THANKFUL FOR ALL THE BLESSINGS THAT COME INTO MY LIFE DAILY'!

I strong believe and I've written before, that what we feed our mind is just as important as what we feed our body.

Now start charging!!!!!!!!!!.................
