3 Commodity Buyer Positions

Local heavy truck manufacturer looking to hire 3 Commodity Buyers to join their team to help develop a localization sourcing strategy.  The positions will be contract inconsideration to direct.

Responsibilities (include but not limited to):

1. Manage all aspects of supplier interaction


2. Creating supplier RFQ packages for; production components and tooling.


3. Analyze supplier cost breakdowns.

Job Requirements (include but not limited to):

B.S. in Business, Supply Chain Management, or Finance

1. 5+ years experience in manufacturing purchasing required

2. Automotive purchasing preferred

Other:

1. Excellent verbal and written communication skills


2. Advanced level experience with Excel and Word required.  Mid-to-Advanced level experience with Access and PowerPoint preferred.


3. Position will travel up to 25%
