HAVEN is Oakland County's leading provider of domestic violence and sexual assault treatment and prevention services. We are looking for someone with a desire to make a difference and join our team to provide culturally competent, client centered counseling services.

QUALIFICATIONS:     

MSW or MA in Psychology, Counseling or related field; In-depth knowledge of and experience with adult, teen and child victims of domestic and sexual violence; Skilled at facilitating individual and group therapy, crisis intervention, advocacy and case management; Ability to identify and assess counseling needs of victims; Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills; Strong computer skills; Excellent organizational and attention to detail skills in order to track and prepare data accurately and timely; Ability to work with diverse populations; Flexible schedule with evening availability a must; Bi-lingual candidates are encouraged to apply.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary responsibilities include: Coordinate, develop and facilitate group and individual counseling sessions; Assist in the planning and delivery of support and educational program services; Conduct intake sessions; Maintain case records in a timely fashion; Comply with Agency and funder requirements and standards.
