Hello! My name is Amy Dresden and I am the Director of Business Development for DUNRITE HEATING & COOLING SYSTEMS. I have past experience in Sales & Marketing but I am new to large Networking Groups. I just joined MOTOR CITY CONNECT today and would appreciate any advice or help moving in the right direction. I have visited a few networking groups and the people involved in them seem to be sincere and genuine as opposed to the days when "salesperson" was a dirty word. So if anyone has any good tips or advice for networking for a heating and cooling company, feel free to contact me! E-mail is adresden@msn.com.

Hi Amy welcome to Motor City Connect
Hi Amy!! my name is Colin McConnell from BizMatchConnect.com. Like any group you get out of it what you put into it. Motor City Connect (MCC) has many events that you can meet new people and learn about their company. So check the calendar often. Also, participate on the boards on MCC. This is a great way for people to get to know you and you to start build your network... i would first start by putting your picture up so that people will recognize you when you are at MCC events.
It's a great group glad you joined.
Colin
Welcome Amy! I've only been an MCC member for a little over a month and I believe we have found an authentic and helpful group on our networking paths!
Welcome Amy! I, too, am new to Motor City Connect. Went to my first lunch meeting at BD's Royal Oak and had a very interesting and informative lunch and met a lot of great, down to earth people who have a lot in common with one another. You'll enjoy the group - be sure to get involved and get out there -- It is what you put into it...
