The New Career Economy - Who Moved My Cheese!

Many of you have read the book, "Who Moved My Cheese". If you haven't read it, I would highly recommend it. The book talks about paradigm shifts and how you need to react to them.

Today's New Career Economy is a major paradigm shift. The job market is no longer what it used to be. Time between jobs has been vastly expanded. New jobs on average come with 30% less compensation while the time demands are expanding. Benefit packages are not what they used to be and, most importantly, employers have no loyalty and you are subject to the next layoff.

In this environment it makes sense to consider all your options. One option that many people overlook is business ownership.....taking control of your own destiny. At the very least you should consider all your options including this one.
