Amen to that. My business also serves my needs and as a result I LOVE my job. Spending a good part of my life getting to "know" myself, has resulted in a meaningful relationship with life.

Its amazing how success can be defined in different ways. Some people its only financial, for some its professional... but inline with what you mentioned...
.. I think success need to be a holistic balance or different aspect (financial, personal, family, professional etc). It is so tricky to keep that balance though
I subscribe to the belief that financial success is a by-product of living a successful life of service. Money can be a frustrating way of measuring success in the beginning stages of building a business that we look for other measures to keep us motivated.
Balance in all things is the best way of measuring success for my life and those who surround me.
