Guerrilla Job-search Workshops starting again Mid-January

Guerrilla workshps are running in Livonia.  Three weeks ago a workshop was initiated as the first Guerrilla version of the ongoing series of GET TO WORKshops, which have been available since March.

While the GET TO WORKshops have had good turnouts, positive feedback and some success by the participants in their search for new jobs, this new approach is unique.

David Perry and Kevin Donlin, creators of the book, "Guerrilla Marketing for Job Hunters, 2.0,"  Attachment.are advisers and participating in the group via conference calls.  The group is being led and coordinated by this writer, as a service to the participants and a model for future workshops.   But Perry and Donlin have added new elements to the existing GET TO WORKshop agenda, a guerrilla approach, and their specific tasks and assignments have added more accountability to the participants and more directed tactics for job searching.

Attached is a guerrilla resume example, which we create in our workshop.  The goal is to be unique, creative, eye-catching and just a little outrageous.  This is just one of the things we're doing in this workshop.  Take a look if you're interested.

A new version of this workshop will be coming out in mid-January. This session has shown some great progress in the 6-week pilot workshop we're currerntly doing.

FYI, this January GET TO WORKshop - GUERRILLA version will be an 8-week workshop, combining the best of GET TO WORKshop agendas with guerrilla workshop agendas.  It will be an interactive, and fast-moving workshop, designed to get people pro-active in their job searches.  There will be a charge for this series, as it is a very time-consuming endeavor for those putting it on.

If you are interested, be prepared to be willing to get pro-active, to keep up with assignments that may take 1-4 hours per day to complete, and to go outside your comfort zones at times.  People in this workshop will be held accountable to maintain the pace in order to maximize their results.
