An attitude of gratitude goes a LOOONNNNNGGGG way!
I just sent this blast:
Check out the "How to use MCC more effectively" videos HERE.
When I first wrote the Veteran's Day thank you in 2007 it was easy to point out the majority of Vet's in the group. We had about 200 people and I knew most everyone of them. Today is a lot different. As much as I would like to list your name, I can't. So how about this,
If you or someone you know is a Vet, how about you share your story or thoughts on the board so we can properly acknowledge you? If you're the humble type, and I have met many who are, maybe someone else will do it for you.
It's because of your (and those who served with you, before you and who will serve after you) selflessness we enjoy the freedom and security we have today.
I want to go on record and thank a few people:
My cousin, Christopher Hart, My good friend, Dave Biskner, a mentor to me Captain Doug McDonald, Bjorn Olson, Scott Ferguson, Troy Bloomquist, Paul Anderson, Rob Cowan, Brad Tousignant and I'll stop here.
I appreciate you all for stepping up to serve our country as well as for stepping up and serving as leaders in our business community. Thank you.
Here's to being able to achieve world peace by way of being peaceful as opposed to being mighty.
Two great charitable events this weekend:
Learn to call AND support Blightbusters this Saturday
Daniel Ottney has received rave reviews on his training. If your job requires you to do telemarketing, you will want to show up for THIS.
An awesome fund-raising opportunity for Linda Anger
Linda's friends at Glitz salon are opening up this Sunday to make YOU look good while supporting Linda. Proceeds from hair cuts and styles will be donated to Linda as she continues to beat down cancer. Click HERE for more details.
One last quick note, I am very grateful for the wonderful meeting we had in Royal Oak on Tuesday. Thank you to the 35 people who joined us. I hope you made some great connections, learned a few things and enjoyed your time.
As always, we look forward to working with you to grow you, your business and our community.

Thank you to my husband Joe, US Army - Vietnam; my stepdad Bill StClair - Seabees in WWII and special love for my daughter Lisa who is currently a Private First Class in the US Marine Corp!
From your loving wife, daughter and mother.
Thank you everyone. Vets, National Guard members, reservists, and active duty military appreciate the support.
Always remember that there are still soldiers in harm's way. Please continue to show your support for them as the time spent away from their families is always difficult.
Thank you, Terry Bean, for creating this opportunity for us all. Then, thanks to my dad. He, too, served in WWII and was captured at the Battle of the Bulge, returning to the US with a Purple Heart. Without them, and so many more, we would not be where we are today. Thanks to my husband and the rest of the millions of men and women that served and continue to serve our country! You are all hero's and more, living angels!
Love and blessings from one of the fans!
Thanks Terry for the acknowledgement. Being a Sgt. that served in the US Army for 8 years and overseas in the Persian Gulf War in Desert Storm/Desert Shield 90-91. We where the first troops to kick off that war. It is interesting to see how time flew by. The situation has worsended to the point it has. Unfortunate so may say but I say that is most definetly one of the best experiences I had in my life. It was well worth the sacfrice of my life for this county, nobal indeed. Also, Thanks to my fellow soliders that are still serving. I pray for strength for your families in this time of seperation. Peace...
Sgt Shannon
Being Named First by my cousin was an Honor. I hope all Vet's present and past feel proud to have served as I do. I served in Desert Storm with the 101st Airborn Division Combat Engineer. Having the opportunity to talk to old time Vets with my current job is outstanding. I am again serving them as they served us. For those of you who don't know me I work as a Mobility Consultant for the Rascal Company and educate and train Veterans who need Mobility assistance by delivering them Power Scooters and Wheelchairs. To see the look on their faces as they power off down the road is gratitude enough. If anyone's parents or Grandparents need Mobility assistance please call/e-mail I can help. Insurance/Medicare/cade or cash.
Thanks again Terry.

Today I'm remembering my Father and Uncle Frank, both served in the USMC during the Korean War. Served my time in the USAF as a Paramedic, and while we prepped for a "desert" war I was out before it came.
I want to give thanks to my Dad who was in the Navy and my friend Daniel who is a SeaBee & was in Iraq/Afghan
My brother-in-law Jef Earley retired as a top colonel in the army. He still looks at all the troops as family. He was voted into Quatermaster Hall of Fame (only 100 people in it in history). He is a HERO in my eyes and continues to be!
I think ALL our troops should be paid what our professional athletes get and vice-versa.
