Over the coming weeks I intend to share some of my thoughts on how business has changed in the past 18 months. Those that embrace this change and learn how to play in the NOW economy will thrive. Those who don't, may start wondering how they will survive. On which side of that thought will you fall?

Terry,
I don't know all the facts, so I don't want to 'criticize' your AAA rep, but especially in this economy in Detroit, and that we know it costs much more to 'recruit' a new customer than it does to keep a current one, shouldn't she have called you before the policy came up for renewal?

Mark-
That was exactly my first question. If you knew you could save your customer 40% of what they were paying today, wouldn't you RUN to tell them? Evidently not everyone qualifies for the savings so it's a case by case basis. Still, I would send a note that says "Your term is up, some of our clients our saving BIG $, call us to see if you qualify".
Heaven for bid we reach out to our clients more than once a year. LOL
