MY RUN (2009)
Indiewood Pictures in Association with Destiny Pictures proudly presents MY RUN, the inspirational documentary of Terry Hitchcock, narrated by Academy Award winner Billy Bob Thornton.
After tragically losing his wife to breast cancer and struggling to raise three young children on his own, Terry Hitchcock seized on an idea. He wanted to accomplish the impossible: run 75 consecutive marathons in 75 consecutive days to bring attention to the incredibly difficult lives of single-parent families.

One of the things that inspired me the most about Terry's story was that his doctors all said he was crazy, tried to tell him he would die if he followed through on his dream... but he knew in his gut what was true for him, and wow, what an inspiration he is!
Still in the early days of my "cancer conqueress" journey, I have already had to make some decisions that are not in line with what my onocolgist believes, and already seen indications that my choices were correct.
So at this moment, Terry Hitchcock is my absolute HERO - and Tim, I hope you pass this message on to him!

Karmatube.com is definitely on my list. What a great find Linda.
It's interesting how Social Media has impacted our lives. If not for Facebook, I would likely not have re connected with Tim. Also how quickly we can share messages back and forth (not that the text message doesn't get good response).

That was a very inspirational video. I'm checking out this site to see what other fun, amazing things I can get my eyes and ears into. I think we should show people that video and teach our kids that anything is possible and not just send them through society hoping all will be ok. Let's see what we as people, especially people my age, can do for the generation behind us.

Thanks for the kind words. I also am a quotes guru. A book that you might find interesting is the Dale Carnegie Scrapbook, Carnegie kept a file of quotes for use in his books. After his death his widow put them together and published them. It is interesting to see what the great inspirational writer thought was precious enough to put in his file.
I think there are a lot of quote lovers. I use to have a quote of the week on my website but took it off. I had many comments. Now I post a fresh one in what appears as a PowerPoint slide each week on my Impact Today blog. It gets a lot of hits each week.
