MCC New Business? It's helped me find new photography clients!
Ironically, this may sound pitchy about MCC. Frankly, i'm in no way or shape being paid by Terry bean or Charlie Wollberg (sp? sorry!).
I'd like to thank MCC for some recent new business transactions that it has allowed me to build.
I've always been a strong believer in networking and connecting with people. Either online or in person. An amalgamation of the latter is the best way to solidify your sales.
With MCC:
- You can proactively qualify. Just don't be pitchy. Soft sales. Emphasize your relationship
- Plant the seeds and continue to grow it. Friendships and relationships atrophy. MCC is the fertilizer you need to help your plant (or relationship grow)
I don't even really have a website for headshots right now as well. Just connecting and communicating to people and being out there.
I really strongly believe the best way to build sales is to take control and show some leadership. Set up and meet with people in your area and just meet up.
Real world example of how MCC has helped me build sales:
- I offered special discounts for MCCm members for headshots for a limited time. This has lead me to easy referrals without much work or effort!
- I help organize and setup events for MCCm. This allowed me to reach and connect potential clients ( Danielle B. in this case). I did headshots for Danielle and eventually she worked for Core 3 and highly recommended me to a local client. They eventually bought 4 headshot photos!
I've met and got to know danielle through 2 MCCm events i've set up and just hung out with danielle. From there eventually things just worked out.
Do you have an example of how MCC has helped you with sales?
