I love Linked In and am in the maximum number of groups you are able to have (50.) I think it is a great way to put your name out there and show you are an "expert" at something.
I have gotten connections through just chanigng your status message. Which I find is a great way to find out information from your network. Plus, I do that on Facebook.
Joe is a great guy and always there to help me. So connect with him where ever you can. He is always there to contribute!
Thanks Jamie!
Thank you, Joe, for sharing the LinkedIn groups. This is very helpful to me, as I am a newer member of LinkedIn. I was laid off in February and have been working on building my network. LinkedIn is a fantastic tool.
Jamie - Do you have any examples you could share on updating your LinkedIn status message? Mine just says that I am seeking employment, so I'm probably not utilizing this to the fullest potential. Thanks so much!
