Cost Estimator/Process Engineer (Machining) Needed

Cost Estimator/Process Engineer (Machining) - responsible for developing process times for precision machining.  Must be able to work with Manufacturing, Quality, Purchasing, Engineering and Sales Depts, and have a FULL understanding of general machining practices.  MUST have hands on experience with all aspects of metal removal and different material types including aluminum, armor and stainless.  MUST understand different machinery types including vertical and horizontal mills, CNC turning lathes, gear hobbing, broaching and Blanchard grinding.  MUST have some knowledge of induction heat treating, gear grinding, deburing, shot blasting, shot peening, seals, gaskets, bearings, returnable packaging, painting and assembly.  10-15 years estimating experience required.  MUST understand engineering blueprints (casting, forging, machining), machining methods (for all metal types), tooling and fixturing.  10+ years manufacturing and machine programming experience preferred.  Please do not apply if you do not meet these requirements.  Competitive salary and benefits.  Send resume to humanresources@locper.com.  EOE
