Jr. Account Executive Needed at Entertainment in Troy

I am looking for a Junior Account Executive to work with us at Entertainment Publications, home of the iconic Entertainment Coupon Book.  We sell fundraising solutions to schools and community organizations.  The Junior Account Executive position offers an opportunity to gain the support and training you need to be a successful Account Executive.  Partnered with an experienced rep, you will learn the basics of sales: prospecting, making effective sales presentations, closing, and the service after the sale which ensures customer satisfaction - leading to retention.   Additional support will require strong organizational and administrative skills; inventory control, lead generation, assisting with collections, and special event coordination to name a few.   

This position is primarily an inside sales role, with up to 25% overnight travel.  A successful Junior Account Executive has a knack for striking up relationships over the phone, but is also confident and comfortable in front of clients.  Meeting sales goals is rewarded; exceeding goals is rewarded more.  Multi-tasking isn't just a requirement, it's essential to your success; getting behind the eight ball will quickly compound.  Computer technology savvy = better prepared to do more in less time.  Some previous experience in inside sales is highly desirable, although we are willing to train the "one" who has the right blend of drive, personality and intrinsic ability.
