What are your 5 gotta haves of summer?

I spend more time than I should thinking about how to engage people. It's because I believe that until we ALL realize how connected we really are, we won't truly prosper as humans. For some reason, that's important to my being. They are different you know (humans and beings).

Anyway, I was rummaging for a pair of shorts and started thinking about water skiing. I thought I gotta do that many more times this summer. Then I started wondering what else would make my list. I figured I should write it here and ask you to do the same.

5. I mentioned the skiing, right?

4. I gotta increase my BBQing skills. If the last three times are any indication, we are in for a much less overcooked summer ;-)

3. I gotta make an impact on the overall connectedness (person to technology and person to person) on our region.

2. I gotta spend more time with my family and away from technology.

1. I gotta get more shorts and increase my ability to fit into the ones I have now.

I chose to post this in the spiritual side of life because I believe that if you reflect on your answers you will recognize your spirit's wishes.

Really interested in reading yours. I miss Yahoo's ability to respond from e-mail. Oh well.

4.  Take my boys to visit a lighthouse or five.

3.  Get dirty in my garden; work really hard, move stuff around for the 10th time, dig, lift, carry, weed and mulch.  Then shower, put on a sundress and straw hat, and sit at my cafĂ© table placed right in the center of my garden and drink sun-brewed iced tea in the midst of the beauty I created.  Cheers.

2.  Enjoy the DSO at Metro Park with my family.  It is the most wonderful treat to sit by the water and listen to such beautiful music.  Perfect.
