Yesterday was such a fantastic day. I hope you all spent it well. I found out why the Toledo Zoo is ranked one of the top 10. Their counties get along. We need to change that here. Let me know if you are with me.

Though I haven't been there in several years, the Toledo Zoo is awesome!
Also, the Binder Zoo (Battle Creek) is another amazing zoo. Feeding the giraffes is part of everyone's walk there (yes, you do buy the food that you feed them, but there are no long lines). It is well planned and great fun for families.
The Detroit Zoo has improved immensely and I agree that if the counties could work together better this region has tremendous potential.

I haven't been to the Toledo Zoo, but will, based on your recommendations. The Toledo Art Museum is an amazing place, well worth the drive. That said, the DIA is still one of the best art museums in the world.
