Synergy Plus Solutions is a 15+ person consulting company with over 600 mid-market clients that specializes in developing appropriate procedures and finding technology that fits the process.  We are looking for a sales rep to find new opportunities in the Midwest.  Compensation is negociable and health benefits are available.


 


Account Representative


Role & Responsibilities:



SYNERGY PLUS SOLUTIONS, INC., a mid-market business consulting firm in the Metro Detroit area, seeks an Account Representative with proven sales success in the IT Consulting Services industry. This role involves selling business consulting services and software to small and mid-market companies located primarily in Michigan. We are seeking a seasoned consultative solutions sales expert, able to work directly with client leaders to develop strong customer relationships. The right candidate will be successful in developing and executing a thorough sales program. This role requires the ability to create and cultivate solid business relationships with executives at key Midwest accounts.
 
The candidate should have experience positioning or leveraging our consultant's experience in a variety of industries and software solutions. The ideal candidate must have a great work ethic and the ability to work independently and as part of a team, when necessary, while contributing to the primary goals of the company. A current knowledge of the Michigan marketplace, prospective client-base and competition in the area is vital. Commissions earning potential is excellent for a strong seller.



Requirements:
* Minimum of 5 years experience of selling IT Consulting Services and/or Software Solutions.
* Must have successful experience selling IT Professional Services contracts.        
* Minimum of 3 years of current experience selling such services in the Midwest.
* Experience required selling several of the following types of solution based engagements:
          > Application Development and Integration
          > Application Implementation and Support
          > Business Intelligence Solutions
          > Management Consulting Services


 


Key skills include:
* Experience in successfully communicating with CXOs, VPs and Directors
* Strong at prospecting and new account/new territory development
* Effective with a solution sales methodology or approach
* Experienced with team selling as well as being able to work independently
* Excellent verbal and executive communication skills
* Excellent aptitude and strong desire to learn
* Self motivated, goal oriented, competitive
* Excellent references to verify work practices
* Must have Bachelors or Masters Degree or equivalent experience
