The 6th Annual Dearborn Women's Expo event has been added to the MCC Networking Events Calendar. To access it, go to the IMPORTANT tab and then the NETWORKING EVENTS tab to vew the non-MCC events calendar. These tabs are located at the top of the MCC site.

I have been coming to this show for the last 4 years and I have to say it keeps getting better and better. I have used many of the vendors from Scrapbooking to Pampered Chef to Massage Room. I love all the vendors there and plan on being there again for this very Worthy cause. Oh and the auction - best there is for women!
Guys.......We need to wake up. Men constitute the bulk of the current layoffs, we have a shorter life expectancy and we have higher death rates for each of the 10 leading causes of death. Suicide rate for men and teenage boys has always been significantly higher and with the economic crisis, it's going through the roof. Yet, there are at least 8 offices of women's health, and each HHS region has an office of women's health, but there are no offices of men's health in the federal government. Women have done a good job for years getting their concerns and viewpoints out to the general public. Health is only one of the many fronts where men are falling by the wayside. It's time to step up for the young guys who are coming up...We need to become advocates for our own well being.
